Duplin NC Sweet Muscadine Wine
Duplin's roots trace back to the 1970s when Muscadine grapes were considered a "wonder crop," and a large winery out of New York was paying $350 per ton for North Carolina's native grapes. D.J. Fussell, Sr. and his two sons, David and Dan, decided to grow grapes. Within three years, the price fell to $150 per ton and Fussells were looking for a way to salvage their livelidhoods. In the early 1970s, the family decided to create a market for their grapes and starting making wine. This Sweet Muscadine Wine is part of their Fresh and Lively Trio. The taste is sweet, clean and light made with a secret blend of Muscadine grapes.

Clos Du Val Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Crafted around a core of fruit from our own Hirondelle Estate Vineyard in the famed Stags Leap District, this exceptional Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon includes 93% Cabernet, 3.5% Merlot and 3.5% Cabernet Franc. With an average vine age of 29-30 years old, it offers lovely concentration and complexity. To accentuate these qualities, it was aged in French oak barrels (40% new) for 20 months prior to bottling. The result is a layered and expressive wine with aromas of coffee, blueberry, and toast. On the palate, it is rich and supple, with flavors of plum, boysenberry, and cocoa.
